About Me
I'm Parsa, a Canada based Game Designer and Gameplay Programmer, and a graduate of Staffordshire University and APU, where I received the "Best Student Award" and graduated with a First-Class degree in Computer Games Development. I specialize in Unreal Engine 5 and have gained extensive knowledge of UE over the past 8 years. beginning with Unity 4, before immersing myself in the world of UE4. I now consider myself an expert in Unreal Engine.
As of today, I have worked on released commercial projects, my own indie projects, game jams, professional research projects, and developed tons of fun projects. One of my hobbies is prototyping my favorite mechanics from famous titles in Unreal Engine.

Distorted Echos
About Distorted Echos
(been working on this for a long time!)
"Distorted Echos" is a realistic Sci-fi RPG 3rd person shooter, developed entirely by me in Unreal Engine 4 & 5. Comparable to AAA titles, it features advanced gameplay and visuals. Currently listed on Steam, I’m on multiplayer and COOP features for a Q3 2025 release. After over 3 years of development, it has evolved from a single-player shooter to a multiplayer COOP survival RPG, with complex systems for inventory, Base Building, dynamic weather, AI, and networking, all designed by me.

My time at Ammobox Studios.
I worked as a game programmer at Ammo Box Studios on Eximus: Seize the Frontline, focusing on character abilities, enemy AI, level design, and UI development. I also debugged key interactions like character abilities, weapon switches, and vehicle interactions, focused on gameplay design and implementations, i was also responsible for debugging and final polishes before release.

Nightmare Grounds
About Nightmare Grounds
(this is one of my recent projects)
"Nightmare Grounds" is my favorite project among all—my thrilling work-in-progress survival horror game! This is one of the most complex games I've ever created, featuring an atmospheric design, advanced AI, and a dynamic day-night cycle, with creepy events every night. The idea of this game is inspired by "The Long Dark" and "Darkwood." Terrifying creatures lurk at night, forcing players to set up defenses and protect their safe house. Venture out during the day to scavenge supplies, managing resources and surviving day after day.

Ultra V
About Ultra V
(Multiplayer fun under UV lights)
Ultra V is another work-in-progress project that offers a fully multiplayer experience with two game modes: PVP and PVE plus lots of Fun puzzles, mini games and interesting items. In PVP mode, all players are invisible and can only be seen through UV light exposure and camera use. Meanwhile, in cooperative PVE mode, enemies are invisible, requiring players to work together to defeat them.

My AI Research Projects & Developed AI Framework
What type of research did I do?
(All sorts of AI stuff)
During my studies at APU and Staffordshire University, I did extensive research on AI in video games, specifically the use of Utility theory (fuzzy logic) & neural networks for AI agents. I created a fully functional AI framework for Utility AI within Unreal Engine. Furthermore, I explored various applications of reinforcement learning on different AI agents with diverse capabilities.
